Where will my money go?
Your contribution to KidWalk will help six major charities in the Annapolis area - The Boys & Girls Clubs, the Lighthouse Homeless Shelter, CASA, We Care & Friends, Box of Rain, and VisionWorkshops - give the kids of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County food, shelter, education and fun - a true childhood.  If you choose to sponsor our event, here is what your money can buy:

$10 pays for lunch for one homeless child
$30 gives one homeless child a bed for one night
$50 gives one homeless child a pair of glasses
$100 gives one homeless child back to school supplies

T-Shirt Sponsor: $3000
With all of our walkers wearing a t-shirt with YOUR logo on it, you are sure to bring in new clients.  For some of participants, this might be one of the few non-hand-me-down shirts they have received in quite some time.  Thank you for being this key sponsor.

Site Sponsor: $2500
 The Naval Academy Stadium was a central and easy pick to host this event. The package is all-inclusive, allowing us usage of the facilities, registration center and the gathering tents- eliminating the work of gathering generators and restrooms for a parking lot event. By sponsoring this fee for it, it enables more funds to go directly into the charities operating dollars to keep the doors open so our children have a place to keep enjoying in the area!

Parking Lot Sponsor: $1,500
The Stadium parking lot does charge $5 per car, which may be a stretch for many of our walkers for the day of the event. Our hope is to have all families have the ability to join in the event without the hassle of a parking fee.

Stadium Vendor: $200
Would you like to be involved in the days’ events? Bring your table, some catchy signs and material and hunker down at the Naval Academy Stadium to promote your wares through the course of the event (7:30am-11:30am).

Printing Sponsor: $800
Your name would be proudly displayed on each printed item between now and the day of the event.  This would include our PSA’s, flyers, registration forms, sponsor forms and a handout to all participants the day of the event.

Kilometer Sign Sponsor: $200 each
On each of the 1, 2 and Finish Line markers we are offering the opportunity to get your logo in front of all our walkers and those cheering the day of the event.

Sponsor a Child: $10
The charities involved- Boys & Girls Clubs, Light House Homeless Shelter, We Care & Friends, CASA, and Box of Rain would like to be able to cover the cost of registration for all of their kids.  For only $10, you can sponsor a child to walk, which includes a t-shirt and goody bag for them.

Water/Snack/Cheering Station: On You!
We are asking as many businesses that are storefront along the route to offer refreshments for our walkers. You can also advertise this prior to the event as a “Cheering Station” and have a special coupon available for the participants to pickup along their way. 

Goody Bag Items
If you have any fun items that you think our walkers would enjoy finding in their goody bags, we would love to have them!  Snacks, water, and tchotchkes are all welcome.  We need enough to fill all of our goody bags - about 500 items.
